Job Title: Robotics and Controls Engineer Location: Delavan, WI Experience: 5 7 Years Pay Rate: $41 $45/hr on W2
Job Summary
Seeking a Robotics and Controls Engineer with strong mechanical design, robotics, PLC programming, and automation experience to develop and optimize advanced robotic workcells.
Key Responsibilities
Design automation cells and EOAT using SolidWorks and ASME Y14.5/GD&T.
Perform robot reachability, payload, and system feasibility analysis.
Program and optimize 6-axis robots such as FANUC, ABB, or KUKA.
Develop PLC and HMI programs using digital and analog I/O.
Design and troubleshoot electrical schematics and industrial controls.
Integrate and calibrate machine vision systems such as Cognex and Keyence.
Conduct risk assessments and implement robotic safety systems.
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve automation efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5 7 years of robotics, controls, or automation engineering experience.
FE exam completion preferred/required.
Strong SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience.
Knowledge of GD&T, ASME Y14.5, and fixture design.
Advanced PLC/HMI programming and electrical controls experience.
Hands-on experience with 6-axis industrial robots and machine vision.
Knowledge of ISO 13849, ANSI/RIA R15.06, or ANSI B11.19 safety standards.
