Robotics Engineer - Core Requirements

Core Technical Requirements

  • Strong experience in Robotics, Automation Systems, Industrial Automation, and Motion Control.
  • Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping, proof-of-concept development, and feasibility studies.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks and CAD design tools.
  • Strong understanding of motion control technologies.
  • Experience with:

  • Industrial Control Systems

Machine Vision Requirements

  • Some experience with robot calibration using Machine Vision is required.
  • Candidate does not need to be a Machine Vision expert but should understand:

  • Work within an early-stage Robotics Research & Engineering team.
  • Design, build, test, and iterate robotic prototypes.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concept evaluations.
  • Develop automation and motion-control solutions for laboratory workflows.
  • Work directly with robotic hardware in a hands-on lab environment.
  • Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and software developers.
  • Support mechanical design, integration, testing, and optimization activities.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong engineering mindset with hands-on hardware experience.
  • Comfortable working across mechanical, robotics, controls, and automation disciplines.
  • Able to move quickly through multiple prototype iterations.
  • Experience taking concepts from idea stage to working prototype.
