    Job Description

Build the brains of robots, one connection at a time

Picture your day: You clock in on 1st or 2nd shift, open a fresh set of electrical schematics, and begin wiring, assembling, and testing components that bring FANUC robotic systems to life. A sensor reads off-spec? You trace the circuit, validate with your meter, and correct the fault. A mechanical fit isn’t perfect? You review the drawing stack, measure with precision tools, and make it right. Safety, quality, and throughput guide every move.

    What you will do

    • Perform electrical and mechanical assembly of FANUC robotic systems.
    • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to build and verify assemblies.
    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues during assembly and testing.
    • Conduct inspections and measurements using precision instruments.
    • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities on equipment and assemblies.
    • Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and production standards.
    • Document repairs, modifications, and testing results as required.

    What you bring

    • 2–4 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, robotics, automation, or related industrial environments.
    • Background supporting assembly processes, equipment maintenance, or manufacturing operations.
    • Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and components.
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and electromechanical systems using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
    • Familiarity with predictive and preventive maintenance techniques and root-cause analysis.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
    • Familiarity with FANUC robotic systems (preferred).

    Education

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Associate Degree in Electrical Technology or related field preferred.
    • Candidates with electrical education and mechanical experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

    Preferred certifications

    • FANUC Certified Maintenance Technician
    • FANUC Certified Mechanical Technician
    • NETA Certification
