You'll own robot programming, commissioning, and process optimization on Tesla Body-in-White lines-raising efficiency, quality, and safety with process, controls, production, and maintenance. This is a hands-on role: path and process issues on the floor, then durable fixes in the cell.
Program and commission KUKA (KRL / WorkVisual) and FANUC (TP / Roboguide) robots on BIW lines
Adjust robot paths, tools, bases, and reference frames
Set up and validate robot safety, including DCS, SafeOperation, and related systems
Configure and optimize gluing, bolting, riveting, welding, and material-handling sequences
Integrate robot I/O with PLCs and prove out robot-to-peripheral communication
Configure and integrate vision (Mech-Mind, iRVision, Perceptron, Coherix / VisionTech)
Troubleshoot live issues; maintain backups and documentation; coordinate with process, controls, and maintenance
Hands-on KUKA (KRL / WorkVisual) and FANUC (TP / Roboguide) programming and commissioning, ideally in Body-in-White or similar high-volume assembly
Experience adjusting paths, tools, bases, and frames, and commissioning DCS / SafeOperation (or equivalent)
Practical knowledge of joining and handling processes (glue, bolt, rivet, weld) and of PLC signal integration
