Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Robotics Engineer for a Contract with a client in Cupertino, CA. The ideal candidate is responsible for assembling, testing, and debugging robotic systems, including robotic arms and in-house automation solutions.
Rate Range: $53/Hour to $56/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Robotics Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Assemble, test, and deploy robotic systems, including robotic arms and in-house automation solutions.
Perform debugging and troubleshooting of both hardware and software issues in robotic systems.
Conduct quality assurance (QA) testing to ensure robots function correctly in deployment environments.
Work closely with engineering teams to support integration, assembly, and system validation efforts.
Execute debugging scripts and analyze system behavior to identify and resolve defects.
Monitor system performance and ensure robots operate efficiently from point A to point B as designed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree (MS/PhD preferred) in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
8-10 years of hands-on experience in robotics engineering, automation, or hardware/software debugging roles.
Strong experience in debugging robotic systems, including both hardware (power, components) and software (scripts, control systems), with familiarity in ROS.
Ability to assemble and test robotic components with proficiency in Python scripting and working knowledge of robotic arm operations and QA processes.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
