Job descriptionSorting Robotics Inc. is excited to offer a Robotics Engineering Internship for enthusiastic individuals looking to gain hands‑on experience in the rapidly evolving field of robotics, specifically within the cannabis industry. This job is for a part time or full time Co‑Op Role that will last 6 months.Preferred: Must be comfortable with cannabis (preferred you enjoy it and have experienced it) as we manufacture robotic innovations for the legal cannabis market in the US and Canada.RESPONSIBILITIESAssisting in the design, testing, and development of robotic systems.Working closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and improve existing robotic technologies.Participating in prototype assembly and integration.Supporting data collection and analysis to refine robotic performance.Documenting experiments, processes, and results to contribute to project reports.Engaging in team meetings to discuss project updates and share insights.If you have a passion for robotics and are eager to learn and contribute to innovative projects, we encourage you to apply!QUALIFICATIONSPursuing a degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Basic knowledge of robotic systems and programming languages (Python, C++, etc.).Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.Proof of Covid‑19 Vaccination.Work Location: On‑siteWork Hours: Flexible, part‑time hours availableApplicants for this internship must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have proof of COVID‑19 vaccination records.$25/hr and free lunches.#J-18808-Ljbffr
