POSITION SUMMARY
The Robotics Club plans to participate in the First LEGO League. FIRST LEGO League introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children ages 4-16* through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Participants gain real-world problem solving experience through a guided, global robotics program, helping today''s students and teachers build a better future together
In the First LEGO League, the group will design a research presentation to answer a common problem in society. In addition, there are sets of challenges which require the group to build and code a robot to solve.

Serving as an advisor within the district provides individuals with the opportunity to help students maintain a growth mindset and teach them valuable life skills such as being a good teammate, learning how to succeed in times of adversity, leadership, discipline, and confidence.
