Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Robotics Online Programmer with a strong background in mechanical engineering, robotic programming, automation cell design, and system analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CLOOS robots and MIG welding applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze custom robotic automation cells and End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT).
• Apply ASME Y14.5 standards to mechanical designs and engineering drawings.
• Perform robot reachability, payload, joint torque, center of gravity, and moment of inertia analysis.
• Perform simulation using Process Simulate or QIROX RoboPlan.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety analysis following ANSI/RIA R15.06 and ISO 10218.
• Design and program complex robotic workcells and optimize robot motion profiles.
• Perform online robot programming on CLOOS robots.
• Support MIG welding robotic applications.
• Integrate safety PLCs, light curtains, and other robotic safety systems.
• Troubleshoot and validate robotic systems before production implementation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in robotics, automation, or robotic programming.
• Strong experience programming 6-axis industrial robots.
• CLOOS online robot programming experience is mandatory.
• MIG welding application experience is mandatory.
• Process Simulate or QIROX RoboPlan experience is mandatory.
• Knowledge of ANSI/RIA R15.06 and ISO 10218 safety standards.
• Experience with robot reachability studies and payload analysis.
• Strong mechanical design and system analysis skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cognex, Keyence, or other machine vision systems.
• Experience with robotic workcell design and automation integration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
