Location Type This role is onsite at our Lake Orion MI facility.

Role Overview As a Robotics Process Engineer II you will work with some of the most talented engineers in the automation industry. This role will enable you to perfect your experience while integrating some of the most state-of-the-art robotics and technology available. The innovative solutions we work on offer diverse experiences that will strengthen your skills and challenge your abilities.

What Youll Do Develop simulations using one or more platforms for internal and external process validation Apply cycle time improvement strategies to optimize robotic applications Confirm robot models and develop offline programs OLPs Teach Tool Center Points TCPs Frames and Loads Configure robot IO including communication protocols Set parameters for application-specific equipment Travel up to 35-50 to customer sites and other JR locations Train and mentor 1-2 team members as directed

What Youll Bring Bachelors Degree in Engineering Technology Mechatronics or related field OR Associates Degree with 2 years of related experience. Minimum of 2 years of related experience with robot peripheral devices tool Center points offline programming software external axes and user frames. Experience with one or more robot applications Material Handling Dispense Urethane Sealer Adhesive Paint Welding Spot Arc Laser.
