Job Title: Robotics Setter Technician
Location: Spartanburg, SC
Shifts Available:
1st shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
2nd shift: Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm
3rd shift: Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am
Pay rate: based on experience
Objective of the Position
As a Robotics Setter, you will set up Robotic and/or automated welding machines, support initial start-up/implementation of machines, and perform basic maintenance.
Accountability
Setting up manufacturing facilities, incl. automated production units
Creating robot, service/ handling, and welding programs incl. setting welding sequences and welding parameters
Analysis of:
Macro Section Reports
Scrap
Welding Procedures
Cycle Times
Optimization of programs and processes, based on the named analysis
Monitoring of production cells in terms of the welding equipment and the adjacent necessary peripherals
Ensuring the basic settings and the desired state of the equipment and programs
Vote in collaboration with the fixture construction on new devices

Support the program teams at start-ups, feasibility studies, and the definition of processes
Requirements
Several years of working experience as a setter.
Manufacturing industry (at best metal processing/welding), also/or knowledge of setting/operating automated production machinery is an advantage
Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or toolmaker
MS Office - and English skills are an advantage
Must have own reliable transportation
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
