Robotics Technician

Primary (Must-Have):

• 5+ years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Electrical qualification up to 480 VAC.

• Proficiency in fluid power, pneumatics, and reading blueprints or schematics.

• Physical capability to occasionally lift and move more than 100 pounds.

• Flexibility to work the 3rd shift (9 PM - 5 AM, Sun-Thurs) and overtime/weekends as needed.

Secondary (Good to Have):

• Experience with injection molding or vacuum coating equipment.

• Background in robotics, automation, welding, machining, or fabrication.

• Experience using SAP or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Process Tech II (Maintenance Technician) provides critical technical support to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing and test equipment. Operating on the 3rd shift, this role focuses on execution of preventive maintenance, quick resolution of trouble calls, and data-driven root cause analysis. The ideal candidate blends high-level electro-mechanical expertise with a proactive mindset to minimize downtime and improve production quality.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex manufacturing machinery and test equipment to maximize uptime.

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and routine cleaning of production equipment.

• Document all daily repairs and maintenance work to analyze failure modes and develop engineering solutions.

• Initiate, coordinate, and execute technical projects aimed at improving workplace safety, product quality, and cost efficiency.

• Research new equipment, manage tool installations, and develop comprehensive asset documentation and spare parts inventories.

You should be proficient in:

• AS9100 Quality Systems
