Robotics Technician – San Jose, CA (On‐Site)

We are seeking skilled Robotics Technicians to support the assembly, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced robotic systems across mechanical, electrical, and integration functions. Ideal candidates bring hands‐on experience with robotics hardware, electromechanical systems, and diagnostic tools used in modern automation environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on robotic systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software‐related issues.
  • Assemble and test robotic components, motion systems, and electromechanical assemblies following documented procedures.
  • Troubleshoot using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, scopes, current probes, and Linux command‐line utilities.
  • Support integration of robotic cells, including setup, calibration, cabling, safety checks, and functional testing.
  • Execute test plans, collect data, document results, and log issues using Jira or similar systems.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 2–5+ years working with complex electromechanical or robotic systems.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, PCB schematics, and wiring harness diagrams.
  • Hands‐on experience with mechanical assembly, torque tools, actuators, motors, or motion systems.
  • Familiarity with Linux, basic scripting, or automated test environments (Python/bash).
  • Understanding of electrical safety and basic industrial standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with robot arms (ABB, KUKA, FANUC, UR), motion control, or industrial automation.
  • Background in fabrication, CAD, PCB rework, or system‐level diagnostics.
  • Prior exposure to robotics testing, QA, VR‐based robot operation, or field service environments.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs and perform hands‐on mechanical work as needed.
