Rock Wall Lead - Arnold (Annapolis)

POSITION SUMMARY:Under the direction of the Rockwall Coordinator, the Rockwall Lead is responsible for providing Cause-Driven management and operations focused around climbing. This position will include associate supervision, program development, program area facility management/maintenance, program optimization and fulfillment. The Rockwall Lead is also responsible for supporting, training, supervising, and leading their associate team in superior levels of member service and engagement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Lead adult and youth climbing at centerFocus on quality experiences and engagement within programs, services, and activities

Help support onboarding new AssociatesFoster an environment that is positive and motivating to families, children, and peersCommunicate with center leadership and Rockwall Coordinator to effectively coordinate and communicate facility usage for assigned programsEnsure programs are staffed and planned accordingly

Organize closet and keep inventory of rockwall equipmentPrint class rosters for Rockwall InstructorsPromote team & classesIncorporate the four character values of the Y: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility and adhere to the YCM Code of ConductCommunicate the Y mission and objectives to the communityAttend and actively participate in all meetings as assignedEnforce all policies and proceduresAssist in all other areas as assigned
