Bonus: 12% Discretionary Target Bonus
Schedule: Rotating shifts | Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays required | Overtime opportunities

We're seeking a Rod Mill Supervisor to lead a unionized production crew in achieving top-tier safety, quality, and productivity results. If you thrive in fast-paced industrial environments and have experience in rod or bar mill operations, this could be your next career move.


What You'll Do
Supervise approximately 13 hourly union employees on the Rod Mill floor
Ensure adherence to safety procedures and foster a zero-incident culture
Drive production results aligned with quality standards and daily output goals
Complete shift reports and communicate effectively with crew and supervisors
Coordinate with Lower Reform Foreman and General Foreman as needed
Support professional growth and accountability across your team
Tackle special assignments and lead operational improvements


What We're Looking For
Experience & Education:
• High school diploma or GED required

• 3-5 years of rolling experience in rod or bar mill production

• Experience supervising in a unionized manufacturing environment

Technical Skills:
• Ability to interpret safety protocols, maintenance instructions, and operational procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for crew direction and reporting
• Basic math proficiency - add, subtract, multiply, divide
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and PC-based systems

Leadership & Interpersonal Strengths:
• Assertive and goal-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to remain positive and composed under pressure
• Able to collaborate with multiple departments and manage priorities


Physical Requirements & Work Environment
• Frequent standing, talking, and listening
• Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, or crawling
• Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Work environment includes noise, mechanical parts, heat, cold, and outdoor exposure
• Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus
