Rogue Retreat AmeriCorps Volunteer Assistant

The Volunteer Assistant will play a key role in building volunteer capacity to support essential programming, including job coaching, life skills development, gardening education, and meal service within shelter settings. This position will help strengthen overall shelter operations by engaging volunteers in meaningful and impactful roles. The Volunteer Assistant will be responsible for developing partnerships with local agencies and businesses, fostering relationships that promote volunteerism, and supporting the growth and expansion of existing programs. In addition, the Volunteer Assistant will attend Peer Support Specialist and Addiction Recovery training and may pursue certification through the State of Oregon to further enhance their ability to support participants and volunteers.
