Roll Coat Operator - Porter Corp

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operate adhesive roll-coating machine
2. Prepare machine for operation
3. Properly maintains and cleans machine
4. Stages raw materials
5. Responsible for data tracking and computer entries
6. Reporting of materials and quality checks
7. Operate a hi-lo
8. Responsible for setting and operating press equipment
9. Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Manufacturing experience preferred
3. Machine Operation experience preferred

Travel

This position requires minimal to no travel

Computer Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems

Other Requirements

1. Ability to read and interpret blue-prints
2. Ability to read a tape-measure
3. Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
4. Reliable attendance
5. Basic math skills
6. Strong record-keeping and organizational skills
7. Ability be on feet and active for long periods of time
8. Reliable attendance
9. Effective communication with fellow team members
10. Ability to adhere to and maintain quality standards
