Location: Grand Island, NE
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Roll-Off Driver to join our team in Grand Island, NE. In this role, you will provide timely roll-off container delivery and removal services for commercial and residential customers while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, customer service and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities

• 
  Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required driver inspection reports.
  
• 
  Deliver and remove roll-off containers safely and efficiently.
  
• 
  Operate a roll-off truck in compliance with all local, state, federal and company regulations.
  
• 
  Properly tarp containers to prevent material loss during transport including manual tarping when required.
  
• 
  Maintain accurate driver log sheets and submit all required documentation at the end of each shift.
  
• 
  Provide outstanding customer service and maintain positive working relationships with customers, coworkers and the public.
  
• 
  Assist with other duties as assigned including additional truck driving and basic maintenance tasks.
  

Qualifications

• 
  Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  
• 
  Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screening.
  
• 
  Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a current DOT medical card.
  
• 
  Must remain insurable under the company's insurance policy.
  
• 
  General knowledge of truck mechanics and ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance.
  
• 
  Ability to plan efficient driving routes.
  
• 
  Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.
  
• 
  Ability to work safely in all weather conditions.
  

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:

• 
  Lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
  
• 
  Sit for extended periods while driving.
  
• 
  Reach, climb, twist, crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel and perform other physical tasks as needed.
  
• 
  Perform occasional manual labor associated with the position.
