**Waste Control, a Waste Connections Company, is looking to hire for a** **Class A Roll Off/Drop Box Driver** **to join the team in Longview, Washington. Previous waste experience would be a huge** **_plus_** **!**
**The Schedule will be 4 Days on, 3 Days Off, 3 Days On, and 4 Days off** **Wednesday** **- Saturday** **Starting at 6:00am-5:00Pm (With Overtime Often)**
**Rate of pay is $29.36/HR.**

**Duties and Responsibilities:**
**In this position you will be operating a Roll off truck on a specified route to Deliver and Pickup up Drop Boxes from the local Mills.**
**Must be able to drive manual transmission.**
**Ability to read route tablet and service each customer identified on the Route Tablet or assigned by the dispatcher.**
**Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.**
**Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers.**
**Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.**
**Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.**
**Working Conditions and Physical Effort:**
**Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.**
**Operating Truck to Deliver Roll Off Box and Pick up Roll Off Boxes.**
**The work environment involves some exposure to physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts, which require following basic safety precautions.**
**The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. The noise level is usually moderate.**
**Minimum Job Requirements:**
**Valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement. Must have no restrictions and be able to drive interstate, and Manual Transmission.**
**Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.**
**Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.**
**Basic knowledge of truck components in order to complete pre-and post-trip inspections.**
