Roll-Off Truck Driver

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our growing operations team. In this role, you will operate roll-off trucks equipped with hydraulic hoist or hooklift systems to transport containers to and from customer sites, including construction, demolition, industrial, and commercial locations.
The ideal candidate is an experienced CDL driver with strong customer service skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate roll-off trucks equipped with hydraulic hoist or hooklift systems
- Transport and deliver containers to customer locations, construction sites, and disposal facilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles and hydraulic systems are operating safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, hook, and unhook roll-off containers
- Secure loads and tarps in compliance with safety regulations
- Navigate congested job sites, confined areas, and varying weather conditions safely
- Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and waste collection documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Deliver professional and courteous customer service at all times
- Follow all local, state, federal, DOT, and company safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B License with air brake endorsement required
(Class A preferred) - Minimum of 2 years of commercial truck driving experience
- Prior roll-off, waste management, construction, or heavy hauling experience preferred
- Strong understanding of DOT safety standards and environmental regulations
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically capable of climbing in and out of trucks, lifting, and handling tarps or containers
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage routes efficiently
- HAZWOPER certification is a plus (may be required depending on assignment)
