Roll-to-Roll Production Technician — Laminators, Sheeters & Slitters

Location: Fairfield, NJ 07004

Schedule: Full-time; overtime available. All Shifts Available

What You’ll Operate

• Laminators

• Related production and finishing equipment

Core Responsibilities

• Safely start, run, monitor, and shut down equipment following work orders and SOPs.
• Watch machine controls and performance; make basic, approved adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate with your helper to stage materials and keep production moving.
• Inspect materials and finished goods for visible defects; verify outputs meet job specs.
• Document production counts, material usage, downtime, and related information.
• Identify unusual noises, movements, or conditions; stop equipment and notify supervision/maintenance promptly.
• Complete routine cleaning and operator-level care between or during runs.
• Keep your area clean and organized; follow all PPE, machine guarding, and safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality, maintenance, helpers, and fellow operators.
• Work overtime to support production needs when available.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice to Have

• Background in machine operation, production, manufacturing, or heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with laminators, sheeters, slitters, printing, converting, or roll-fed gear.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to spot abnormal operation.
• Experience with work orders, in-process quality checks, or manufacturing documentation.
