Mission

Build and rebuild traction motors that power rail vehicles—safely, accurately, and to exacting standards.

What you'll tackle

• Disassemble and reassemble motor units; clean, inspect, and adjust to meet specs and tolerances.
• Perform inbound inspections; stage parts; remove couplings using the right tools; verify key components.
• Prepare assemblies: rotors, stators, seals, pulse wheels, coils, and insulation systems.
• Install bearings; flush regreasing systems; execute electrical, insulation, surge, balance, and vibration tests.
• Keep the workspace safe and organized; prep for paint; maintain tools; drive 6S and process improvements.

Schedule: 5:30pm–4:00am core shift following 2–3 months of first-shift training (6:30am–5:00pm).

Scope note: Primary duties are listed; other responsibilities may be assigned to support the business.

Bring your strengths

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in math, reading, writing, and communication.
• Knowledge of EHS practices, product standards, and assembly methods.
• Experience operating machinery, using tools, and maintaining equipment.
• Ability to capture accurate records in written and electronic formats.
• Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled spaces and, as needed, in inclement weather.
