Roofing Craftsman

Unique advanced skill level within the divisional category in which you work: Roofing

Work independently and direct Tech Is and Tech IIs who assist Craftsman on projects. Promote and actively participate in Chamberlins Safety Program and use safe work practices. Demonstrate and promote Chamberlins core values of safety, quality, and teamwork. Help in the training and development of Technicians. Ability and commitment to work product perfection and production within the specific skill set.

Experience At least three years of experience in Roofing, preferably in a commercial application.

Skills

• Advanced knowledge and ability to demonstrate a proficient skill level for roofing.
• English speaking, bilingual preferred.
• Able to read, understand, and follow blueprints and construction documents.

Abilities

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work independently and lead by example on work projects.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Must be able to work outside in changing weather conditions.
• Must be able to work in elevated locations.
• Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week and overtime when necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to different job locations.
• Must be looking for full-time employment with a desire to have a long-term career with Chamberlin.

Education High school diploma or GED encouraged but not required. Safety certifications.
