About the Role:
Alta Roofing in Sandy, UT is looking for an experienced Roofing Foreman to lead our crews and deliver top-quality roofing projects from start to finish. If you're a seasoned roofing professional ready to take ownership of job sites and mentor a skilled team, we want to hear from you!



Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead roofing crews on residential and/or commercial job sites
• Ensure proper installation of roofing systems including shingles, underlayment, flashing, and related materials
• Enforce job site safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
• Coordinate daily workflow, material staging, and crew scheduling to meet project deadlines
• Communicate project progress, issues, and updates to management
• Inspect completed work for quality control and adherence to specifications
• Train and mentor junior roofers and laborers on best practices and techniques

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on roofing experience, with at least 1–2 years in a foreman or lead role
• Proficiency in steep-slope and/or low-slope roofing systems
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, tools, and installation techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and project specifications
• Solid understanding of job site safety regulations and fall protection requirements
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage a crew with professionalism
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
