About the Role
The Job Site Supervisor is the face of Holencik Exteriors on every job. You keep the crew moving, the homeowner informed, and the project running smoothly from start to finish. You are the go-to person for both the crew and the customer and you take that responsibility seriously.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Conduct pre- and post-job inspections with the homeowner
- Walk homeowners through material placement and job setup before work begins
- Coordinate dumpster placement and protect landscaping with catch-all and plywood
- Use drop cloths when skylights are being replaced inside the home
- Verify deliveries are correct and complete upon arrival
- Introduce yourself to neighbors and leave door tags on homes with roofs that may need replacement
- Check in with the homeowner regularly throughout the day and update them on progress or any additional work needed
- Run for materials the crew needs to stay on schedule
- Get homeowner signatures on any change orders or additional charges
- Document all conversations with homeowners
- Keep the job site clean and organized throughout the day
- Take photos of setup, each phase of the job, and a completed final photo; use a drone for video throughout the day
- Separate cardboard and aluminum for recycling
- Attend callbacks with the Project Manager to learn common installation issues firsthand
- Keep shop and truck supplies stocked for upcoming jobs
- Attend weekly company meetings
- Use rain and snow days as training days on the training roof
- Send PulseM bio before leaving for each job; send Pulse check when the job is completed
- Update the Job Communication log throughout the day
What We're Looking For
- Valid Driver's License required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Self-starter with reliable attendance and schedule flexibility
- Strong customer service skills — you enjoy talking to people and representing the company well
- Professional written and verbal communication
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Ability to climb and descend ladders as needed
- Moderate lifting required — up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work more than 40 hours per week and up to 12 hours per day during busy season
- Comfortable using an iPad and iPhone with company applications
- Must be able to drive a truck with a light trailer, back up a trailer, and navigate tight city streets
- Will operate an Equipter Roofing Buggy
