We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Roofing Project Coordinator to manage residential and light commercial roofing projects from award through completion. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact between customers, crews, suppliers, and management, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple roofing projects simultaneously (shingle, tile, and single-ply systems).
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules, job files, and documentation, including PPE inspection records. 
  • Coordinate material orders, deliveries, and equipment/PPE needs with suppliers and warehouse teams. (Note, budgeted items do not need approval for purchase. Non budgeted Items must be approved by accounting). 
  • Schedule and coordinate roofing crews, subcontractors, and inspectors and site access. 
  • Conduct pre-construction job walks and pre-job meetings with production teams.
  • Create and maintain project preplanning checklists.
  • Proven ability to adapt rapidly to last-minute project modifications, change orders, and changing field conditions while coordinating resources efficiently and delivering successful project outcomes.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for homeowners, property managers, HOAs, and general contractors.
  • Keep track of counts of warehouse stock and fleet management with Reata CRM. 
  • Process change orders, material submittals, and job cost tracking.
  • Monitor project budgets and work with management to control costs and maximize profitability.
  • Ensure all projects comply with manufacturer specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate permitting/licensing, inspections, and approvals with local municipalities.
  • Handle warranty registrations and closeout documentation.
  • Update CRM / job management software (e.g., Dataforma, or similar) in real time.
  • Send correspondence on behalf of production department (e.g., write up, job offers, terminations etc.)
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in roofing project coordination or management.
  • Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial roofing systems (asphalt shingles, standing seam metal, TPO/PVC single-ply preferred).
  • Familiarity with GAF, Duro-Last, and other major roofing manufacturers is a plus.
  • Proven ability to read blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and roofing-specific software.
  • Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with ice & water shield, underlayment, and proper flashing details.
  • Knowledge of California building codes and Title 24 requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts and insurance requirements.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
  • Experience managing crews and holding teams accountable for performance and safety.
