The Role (Your Day-to-Day)
As a Roofing Project Manager, you’ll take over once the salesperson closes the job and keep everything moving from install to closeout. You’ll coordinate trades, communicate with homeowners, track job details, and make sure projects stay organized and on schedule.
This role is more than operations. We want someone who represents the company well in the field, stays engaged with homeowners and neighbors, and looks for opportunities to build relationships and create business when it makes sense.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Take over the project after the salesperson closes the job
- Manage installs and keep projects moving from kickoff through closeout
- Coordinate trades and schedules to support smooth execution
- Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners throughout the job
- Handle data entry, track project updates, and maintain accurate records
- Complete job closeout and ensure all final steps are handled properly
- Represent Hale Yeah Roofing well in the field and help strengthen customer relationships
- Stay alert to neighborhood opportunities and help generate additional business when appropriate
What Makes You a Fit
- You should have around 2 years of experience in roofing, construction, or a related field
- You have experience with data entry, tracking data, and customer service
- Industry-related knowledge is preferred
- You are organized, reliable, and strong with follow-through
- You are comfortable in a customer-facing role and can communicate well with homeowners
- You are coachable, driven, and self-starting
- You bring a go-getter mindset and do not wait around to be told what to do
- You can spot opportunities in the field and are comfortable engaging with homeowners and neighbors
- You represent the company professionally and understand that this role is about both execution and presence
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Compensation
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule: Full-Time
Current Compensation Structure:
- Earn up to $130,000+/year
- + 2% commission per job
This is a 1099 independent contractor role.
