JOB SUMMARY: The Superintendent is responsible for ensuring projects exceed Davco Roofing standards of excellence, are completed on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction. This includes overseeing crew scheduling, performance, quality, maintaining communication with contractors and customers, managing resources, and ensuring all safety standards are met. The Superintendent is responsible for identifying problems, evaluating options and implementing solutions with support from commercial operations staff.

This position requires the employee to communicate orally, use vision to see near and far, use depth perception and hear at a conversational level .
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to constantly carry roofing materials and tools, stoop and bend, twist, squat and kneel, reach for materials, and use hand controls. The employee will frequently be required to push and pull materials when tearing off and installing new roof, climb ladders and scaffolding, and crawl. The employee will occasionally be required to balance, reach above the shoulder, use fine finger manipulation, and use equipment that vibrates. Employee will infrequently be required to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist, lift 50 lbs waist to above the shoulder with machine assistance, use foot controls, and do repetitive motions.
Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
The employee is required to use fall protection, proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work in inclement weather conditions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: 5 + years Commercial Superintendent/Foreman experience.
Reasoning Development: Follow all company Health and Safety procedures. Ability to learn the manufacturing flashing details.
Mathematical Development: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers and use geometry.
Language Development: Ability to read manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; speak using correct English. Ability to speak and understand Spanish is desired, but not required.
Licensures and Certifications: Valid drivers license is required. OSHA 30 certification is required.
