Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction. This role plays a vital part in creating a positive guest experience by ensuring rooms are clean, well-stocked, and welcoming.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel brand standards • Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities • Clean bathrooms, mirrors, furniture, floors, and fixtures • Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop guest rooms and corridors • Restock room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and linens • Remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items • Ensure housekeeping carts and storage areas are clean and organized • Follow all safety, sanitation, and brand standards • Respond promptly to guest requests when needed
Qualifications
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Strong attention to detail and cleanliness, Ability to stand, bend, push, and lift up to 40 lbs, Reliable attendance and punctuality, Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Team-oriented with positive attitude
Preferred Skills
Hotel housekeeping experience, Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, Ability to work independently and efficiently, Basic English communication skills
Physical Requirements
Prolonged standing and walking, Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling, Ability to push housekeeping carts and lift linens and supplies.
