Cleaning Equipment, Communication Skills, English Language, Housekeeping/Cleaning, Physical Demands
Duties include but not limited to: - Removing and replacing soiled linen,
- making beds,
- dusting,
- vacuuming,
- cleaning bathrooms,
- restocking supplies,
- cleaning patios and balconies
- reporting damaged or broken items.
- Arranging room to required standards.
- Responsible for turning items left by departed guests into Lost and Found.
- Assisting in vacuuming and dusting hall corridors.
- Keeping carts and closets clean and stocked.
Requirements and qualifications: - No formal education required
- 2 years of hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
- Must be able to communicate or understand directions in the English language.
- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently.
- Must have strong guest service skills.
- Must be able to report to housekeeping department and assigned work area promptly on scheduled shift.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Physical requirements: - Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel and walk.
- Must be able to push housekeeping carts, which are up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to climb stairs.
- Must be able to be on feet for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- Must be able to use cleaning equipment and supplies.
