Room Attendant

Job Summary:
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms in our establishment. Your attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning and maintaining rooms will directly impact the satisfaction of our guests.

Responsibilities:
1. Clean and tidy guest rooms according to company standards.
2. Change linens, make beds, and replace amenities in guest rooms.
3. Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties, such as mopping and sweeping.
4. Ensure all facilities in the room are in working order and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
5. Properly handle and report lost and found items.
6. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests.
7. Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.
8. Assist with any additional duties as needed to support the maintenance of a clean and organized environment.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role is a plus.
3. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
4. Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
5. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
6. Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, kneeling, and lifting.
7. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic to maintain high cleanliness standards.
8. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
