We offer a unique work environment that emphasizes the personal touch for our guests and a positive, professional and healthy work environment for our employees.WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A ROOM ATTENDANTEnsures the cleanliness of guest rooms, lounges, lobbies, bathrooms and hallways. Provides superlative service to hotel guests and co-workers in performing all housekeeping duties. Provide a high level of attention to detail and following procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Guest Room Service: Follow detailed cleaning worksheet for each guest room cleaningChange bedding and make beds as directedVacuum floors and wash carpets and rugsEmpty wastepaper baskets and ashtraysClean and polish furniture, fixtures, and wooden surfacesClean and polish furniture and fixturesClean windows, glass partitions, and mirrorsMove and arrange furniture, and turn mattresses Make adjustments and to heating, cooling and ventilating systems to hotel standards Replenish bathroom items and mini-bar suppliesStock guest room amenities Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, towels, writing supplies Complete inventory of guest room amenities on form provided. Inform manager of any missing itemsGather and empty trash and transport trash to waste disposal equipment Replace light bulbs as neededSort bedding and towels, load washing machines, and iron and fold dried items Sort, count, and mark clean linens, and store them in linen closets Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts or by hand as needed Deliver any items requested by guests to guest rooms Public Areas:Clean building floors and walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming themSteam-clean or shampoo carpets Clean and polish floorsNotify supervisor of the need for major repairs or additions to the hotelReplace light bulbsObserve precautions required to protect resort and guest property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors North Block Hotel + Restaurant is a part of Mosaic Hotel Group; a collection of award-winning, boutique hotels, each providing an immersive experience for the modern traveler.
