Core Responsibilities
- Quality Control: Thoroughly inspect departure, stay-over, and VIP rooms for accuracy, missing amenities, and signs of poor cleaning.
- Status Management: Verify room status on management reports and quickly communicate with the Front Desk to release ready rooms.
- Defect Reporting: Identify maintenance or safety issues (e.g., broken bulbs, leaking plumbing) and submit work orders for resolution.
- Staff Mentoring: Assist housekeepers in addressing deficiencies, provide on-the-job training, and help track performance.
- Inventory Oversight: Help with the auditing and restocking of linen closets, supply rooms, and housekeeping carts.
- Experience: Typically requires 1 to 2 years of prior hospitality, housekeeping, or quality assurance experience.
- Attention to Detail: Keen observational skills to catch minor oversights in dusting, vacuuming, and bathroom sanitation.
- Communication: Strong verbal skills to relay updates to staff, management, and other departments.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift regularly throughout an entire shift
