Room Service Attendant- Embassy Suites Pittsburgh

As a Room Service Server at Concord Hospitality, you will deliver warm, attentive service that enhances each guest's stay. You enjoy making people smile, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in presenting meals professionally and thoughtfully. You will provide formal, polished in-room dining service while ensuring safety, accuracy, and exceptional hospitality. A ServSafe or approved alcohol-training certification is required.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly, ensuring proper temperature, presentation, and completeness of each order.
• Provide professional, courteous service-including formal greetings, meal explanations, and assistance with additional guest needs.
• Maintain strong knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and service standards.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond to requests promptly, and ensure complete satisfaction.
• Maintain organized, clean work areas and follow all safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
• Assist in dining rooms, bistros, or other food & beverage outlets as needed.
• Communicate clearly and pleasantly with guests and team members.
• Handle busy or unusual situations calmly and professionally.
• Support F&B leadership by identifying guest issues and offering solutions.
• Maintain reliable, regular, and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

• Prior food & beverage or serving experience preferred.
• Strong communication and guest-service skills.
• Ability to stay organized, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of proper food handling, presentation, and temperature control.
• ServSafe and/or approved alcohol training certification required.
• Ability to perform various kitchen or service support tasks during each shift.
