Requirements Qualifications

1. CTE Credential in the area of Information and Communication Technologies or qualify for this credential based on three (3) years of full-time paid or unpaid industry experience or a combination of applicable college credits and industry experience as well as a high school diploma. Specific credential information may be found here: https://www.lacoe.edu/Curriculum-Instruction-Career-Technical-Education/CTE-Credentials. The associated costs for the preliminary CTC credential will be at the employees expense.

2. English Learner Compliance If you dont have an English Learner Authorization, you will be required to apply for an emergency waiver permit with the CTC as a condition of employment. During the first year of employment, you will need to earn the English Learner Authorization certificate by coursework, exam, or a combination of coursework and exam.
