Responsibilities:
Safely use rope access methods to access findings
Help develop access work plan(s)
Complete category I - III composite repairs to field supervisor/blade manager standards- Understand the proper execution of: Repairs using of UV resin systems, UV filler systems, and single stage topcoat systems
Use power tools safely
Perform repairs to internal structures as outlined above
Use BHI’s reporting system to document repairs
Use BHI's reporting system to document inspections, category I – III repairs, and material requests
Complete daily forms to maintain the safety standards of BHI and its clients
Mentor less experienced technicians
other tasks as assigned by the field supervisor(s), project manager(s), and blade manager.
Qualifications:
Active/validSPRAT or IRATAcertifications
Valid driver’s license and insurable under BHI’s vehicle policy
Pass a background and DMV check
Pass a drug screen
Soft Skills: Communication, transparency, responsiveness, and integrity.
Willingness to work suspended by rope to support BHI's clients
Understanding of basic theory behind composites
Power tool skills
Understand LOTO methods/best practices
Understanding of chemicals including UV resin systems, UV filler systems, and single stage topcoat systems
Understand and execution of chamfering/scarfing methods of multiple manufacturers
We are committed to transparency and equity in all people practices. We estimate the hourly pay range for this position, which depends on qualifications, to be $22 to $50 per hour.
