Rotating Engineer – Gas Turbine Rotating Components

Sedalia, MO preferred | Remote considered for the right candidate
Up to $150K base salary

We’re seeking a Rotating Engineer with strong turbomachinery and rotating equipment experience to support the design, analysis, and development of advanced gas turbine rotor systems.

In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and field service teams on both new and existing turbine programs.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Design and analyze rotating turbine components including shafts, disks, blisks, spools, and rotor assemblies
  • Perform stress, vibration, thermal, fatigue, and lifecycle analysis
  • Support high-speed rotating systems and production release activities
  • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and field service teams
  • Lead technical design reviews and support third-party engineering consultants
  • Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical resource across teams

What We’re Looking For
  • 5–10 years of turbomachinery or rotating equipment experience
  • Strong background in gas turbine rotor/component design
  • Experience with FEA, structural, vibration, and thermal analysis
  • CAD experience with Creo and/or SolidWorks
  • Strong GD&T and mechanical drawing interpretation skills
  • Experience with turbine materials such as Inconel, Rene alloys, titanium, cobalt-based materials, or A286 preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering required

Additional Details
  • Remote candidates are welcome for the right fit
  • Initial onsite training in Sedalia, MO required
  • Travel to Sedalia 2–4 times annually
