The Marathon Anacortes Refinery is seeking a Rotating Equipment Reliability Engineer that will function as the technical support to ensure plans and processes are in place to appropriately maintain the refinery's rotating equipment throughout its lifecycle to reduce safety, environmental, and economic risk, while maintaining compliance with all applicable codes and standards. The engineer will also be responsible for providing technical support on rotating equipment issues.
The candidate will be a highly motivated, team-oriented individual who has a background in mechanical engineering in industrial rotating systems, preferably in a refining/petrochemical environment. The engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for equipment replacements, troubleshooting existing issues, implementing new solutions and supporting reliability initiatives targeting longer run-times, higher MTBF, and safer operations.
