Responsibilities
- Operate rotating machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal production quality.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to prevent downtime.
- Maintain accurate production logs and reports to track output and machine efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
- Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety practices.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machine operation is a plus.
Proven experience as a machine operator, preferably with rotating machinery.
Able to work 12 hr rotating shifts.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
