We are seeking a motivated Engineer to join our Process Control & Automation (PC&A) team. You will design, refine, and optimize mission-critical automation systems that power specialty materials production. This role offers hands-on experience with advanced process models, simulation, and commissioning, while collaborating across departments to drive innovation, efficiency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Support capital projects, by defining requirements, commissioning plans, and testing model performance.
• Manage and enhance models-based manufacturing systems: simulate new products, implement setups, monitor process health, and refine plant/product models using learning algorithms.
• Develop and analyze feedback regulators for both model-based and PLC systems.
• Lead and participate in problem-solving activities, applying data analytics to process events.
• Ensure quality control throughout the process by monitoring model outputs, validating product specifications, and implementing corrective actions to maintain compliance with standards.
• Maintain system documentation and provide long-term support tools.
• Work within a team of model engineers to establish best practices and cross-train for coverage.
• Share 24/7 on-call support responsibilities on a rotating basis.
