Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Robotic Welder / Roto-Weld Operator to join a growing fabrication team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring automated Roto-Weld equipment while performing manual welding when required to produce high-quality fabricated components that meet strict production and quality standards.
The ideal candidate has previous welding experience, is comfortable working with automated welding systems, and is committed to maintaining exceptional quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous welding experience required
Ability to operate and monitor automated welding equipment
Ability to perform manual welding where automated welding is not practical
Must successfully pass all required weld tests for the position
Ability to read measuring devices, work instructions, and basic fabrication drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate and monitor Roto-Weld equipment throughout the production process
Inspect weld quality and make adjustments to equipment or processes as needed
Perform manual welding in areas where robotic welding cannot be completed
Read and follow work instructions, fabrication drawings, and welding procedures
Verify finished welds meet quality standards and production specifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures, welding standards, and quality requirements
Meet daily production goals while maintaining consistent workmanship
Weld Test Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete all required weld qualification tests for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience operating robotic or automated welding equipment
Manufacturing or heavy fabrication experience
Knowledge of welding safety practices and quality control procedures
Experience working in high-production industrial environments
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to safely operate welding equipment while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working around heavy steel, welding fumes, sparks, heat, and industrial machinery
Work Environment
Heavy industrial manufacturing and fabrication facility
Fast-paced production environment utilizing automated and manual welding processes
Exposure to robotic welding equipment, heavy materials, overhead cranes, industrial machinery, and fabrication operations
