A Roustabout Laborer will be responsible for the completion of daily field and shop tasks, working safely and proficiently. This position is diverse and may vary on a daily basis. Various duties include working with hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment for facility construction and maintenance, wellhead tie-ins, cleaning of tanks and vessels, fence building and another other miscellaneous work that may arise. This position requires the ability to work in all types of weather conditions.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform facility maintenance, repair and constructionComplete tasks using proper hand and power toolsOperate backhoes, skid-steers, telehandlers, man lifts and other equipmentAssist in installing and repairing piping, valves, pumps and motorsDrives crew truck and is responsible for safely transporting tools and equipment per company policyPerforms daily equipment inspections and routine maintenancePerform general cleanup duties on locations and/or facilitiesComply with all safety policies, codes and regulations to protect the safety and health of all employees.Willingness to cross-train and work among other divisions when neededOther job duties, as assigned by managementRequired SkillsProficient use of hand and power toolsReport to work as scheduledKnowledge and ability to install and repair valves, pumps and motorsMust have a valid drivers licenseMust have reliable transportation to and from workMust have and maintain a clean driving record and meet the insurance requirements (if driving)Must be able to work in a fast-paced environmentMaintain the cleanliness of all company equipment and vehiclesMust be able to develop and maintain strong work relations with teamMust have effective communication skillsExcellent Organizational skills and attention to detailMust be willing to work as needed, including nights and weekendsMust be able to build trust and promote a positive safety cultureMust be able to life 75 lbs and hand physical demanding workMust be adaptable to changing field conditions and operational demandsMust pass a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening, participate in the random testing pool and remain drug & alcohol free throughout employmentMust pass a motor vehicle record check and background checkQualificationsThe requirements listed in this job description are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required and must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in an outside environment.
