No experience needed - we pay you to train.This is not a warehouse job and it is not a delivery job. It is both, plus a craft.Alpine Specialty Services has cleaned the Puget Sound's homes since 1969. We are hiring one person to run our area rug plant - and "run it" is the right phrase, because this is the rare job where one person owns something end to end.Here is your actual day. You load the van and drive a local route, picking up area rugs from homes around the Sound. Some of these rugs are worth more than a car. You bring them back to our Mountlake Terrace shop, and then you clean them - wash, rinse, dry, groom, wrap. You watch a rug that came in gray and tired go back out looking like the day it was bought. Then you drive it home and hand it back to the person who owns it.That last part is the whole job. You are the one who sees their face.Why people like this jobYou are not doing the same thing for eight hours. Half driving, half hands-on shop work, and real conversations with customers in between.You own it start to finish. The rug leaves with you and comes back with you. Nobody else touches it. That is rare in this trade.You learn a real skill. Wool, silk, viscose, hand-knotted, antique - they all clean differently, and we will teach you. It is knowledge that stays with you.You are home for dinner. Local routes, no overnight travel, 7:00 AM start.The owner still answers the phone.
