Route Sales Representative

Full time position base salary plus commission, route sales driver/ distributor will work under the regional sales supervisor. The route sales driver is responsible to provide excellent customer service while delivering and servicing stores.

Requirements

• Retain relationships with store managers and solve customer issues
• Inform customers of new products and special promotions.
• Restock stores to ensure correct inventory, pricing, and date code rotation
• Insure that product distribution is accomplished to customer satisfaction
• Complying with customers scheduled receiving hours and policies
• Sell displays to drive incremental sales
• Solicit new business within the route territory
• Selling in new promotions into existing accounts
• Maintaining company-supplied equipment

Minimum Requirements

• Must be computer Literate
• CDL Class “C”
• Must be able to drive 16’ truck
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Ability to frequently lift / carry products weighing approximately 50 lbs
• Exceptional Communication skills
• Ability to work well with people
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have active and valid driver license with a clean driving record
• Must be available to work a mandatory work schedule of Monday through Friday, Occasional Saturdays to fulfill business demands
• 1-3 years of sales experience, DSD experience preferred.
• Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen and background investigation
