This position is based in Greer, South Carolina, supporting BMW's transportation network. The operation plays a critical role in coordinating daily inbound and outbound freight movements, managing driver activity, supporting material flow, and ensuring seamless communication between BMW, drivers, and operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Coordinate daily routes and driver assignments to ensure on-time service and customer satisfaction
- \n
- Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, BMW representatives, dispatch, and operations leadership
- \n
- Monitor freight movement and proactively communicate shipment updates, delays, and service issues
- \n
- Support driver scheduling, attendance tracking, and staffing requirements
- \n
- Ensure drivers are operating safely and in compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and customer requirements
- \n
- Investigate and resolve transportation, service, and driver-related issues
- \n
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to drivers
- \n
- Track operational KPIs related to service, safety, productivity, attendance, and equipment utilization
- \n
- Maintain accurate reports, operational documentation, and compliance records
- \n
- Assist with fleet utilization, route planning, and daily operational execution
- \n
- Partner with BMW representatives to resolve concerns and support production requirements
- \n
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and customer service
- \n
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and service performance
- \n
- Assist with workforce planning and daily operational staffing needs
- \n

Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree preferred; Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business, or related field is a plus
- \n
- Previous experience in transportation, dispatch, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, customer service, or operations environments preferred
- \n
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- \n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
- \n
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- \n
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- \n
- Ability to lead, coach, and hold employees accountable
- \n
- Working knowledge of transportation operations and DOT regulations preferred
- \n
- Flexibility to support varying schedules and operational needs
