zTrip is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Routing Dispatcher to support daily transportation operations and ensure efficient, on-time service across our network. In this role, you'll coordinate driver routes, monitor active trips, and provide real-time support to drivers and customers to keep service running smoothly.

What You'll Do as a Routing Dispatcher

Routing & Dispatch Operations

• Assign and route drivers based on trip demand, availability, service requirements, and geographic coverage
• Monitor active trips and make real-time adjustments to improve efficiency and service delivery
• Communicate route updates, dispatch instructions, and operational information to drivers
• Ensure consistent transportation coverage and timely service throughout each shift
• Quickly respond to delays, reroutes, and service interruptions to minimize disruptions
• Utilize dispatch and routing systems to optimize trip assignments and vehicle utilization

Driver & Customer Support

• Serve as a primary point of contact for drivers during daily operations
• Assist drivers with route guidance, trip updates, and operational questions
• Support customers with transportation inquiries, scheduling concerns, and service requests
• Resolve service challenges professionally and efficiently while maintaining a positive customer experience
• Maintain consistent communication between drivers, customers, and operations teams

Administrative & Documentation Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate routing records, dispatch logs, trip documentation, and operational reports
• Assist with administrative duties and customer account inquiries as needed
• Track daily service activity and ensure proper documentation of operational events
• Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with operations, customer service, and leadership teams to ensure smooth service execution
• Share operational updates and service-related information with internal stakeholders
• Support process improvement initiatives and operational projects
• Contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented work environment

What We're Looking for as a Routing Dispatcher:

• Previous experience in dispatching, routing, transportation, logistics, fleet operations, or a related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities
• Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Professional communication skills when interacting with drivers, customers, and team members
• Experience with routing, GPS, dispatching, or transportation management systems is a plus
• Valid driver's license required
