Roving Maintenance Technician / Handyman

We are a boutique property management company seeking a reliable and skilled Roving Maintenance Technician to support our portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This mobile role requires a proactive, hands-on professional with strong handyman skills and the ability to manage a wide range of property maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general repairs and maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and other handyman services
• Conduct routine property inspections and preventative maintenance
• Identify issues beyond the scope of general maintenance and coordinate with licensed specialists or vendors as needed
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency maintenance situations
• Maintain clear communication with property managers, tenants, and vendors
• Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
• Keep a well-organized inventory of tools, materials, and supplies

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience
• Strong general handyman skills across multiple trades
• Ability to assess problems and know when to escalate or outsource
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills

Preferred:

• HVAC or trade certifications a plus
• Experience working with both residential and commercial properties
