Roving Maintenance Technician

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Roving Maintenance Technician to join one of our clients team and assist with their Portfolio of single family homes. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in residential maintenance experience is required, have knowledge of basic maintenance repairs in homes/residential, be self-motivated, be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day and is self-sufficient/punctual.

Salary: $24-$25/hour DOQ. (Drive time/mileage reimbursement)

Schedule: Weekly schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:00 – 4:30. On-call every 5 weeks.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Responsible for conducting property inspections and documenting/reporting issues at properties
• Maintain positive tenant relationships
• Follow safety rules
• Complete work orders and after hours on call requests in accordance with company policy and procedure
• Maintain inventory of supplies
• Complete preventive maintenance on all building systems
• Maintaining the exterior of the properties to provide a clean and aesthetic curb appeal at all times
• Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed
• Repairing, replacing and or transferring appliances
• Diagnose and preform repairs in the areas of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC. This includes but is not limited to windows, doors and screens, painting, grout and tile work, flooring and any other common repair needed in an apartment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 3 years’ experience in residential maintenance - multi-family experience is REQUIRED.
• Experience in residential maintenance, preventative maintenance, work orders and emergency response.
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation as there will be on-call rotation after conversion.
• Punctual and responsible demeanor.
• Be able to successfully pass a background check before employment.
