About The Position
Join a growing team as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist in West Islip, NY. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality patient care in sleep medicine, and it offers a significant impact on patients' health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct overnight sleep studies and gather comprehensive clinical data.
- Prepare equipment and apply sensors/electrodes ensuring proper calibration.
- Fit and troubleshoot airway pressure masks for patients.
- Score and analyze respiratory, cardiac, and sleep-related events.
- Adhere to all safety, compliance, and documentation standards.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Polysomnography Program.
- NY PSG license and/or CRT/RT license required.
- RPSGT certification preferred (NY PSG or RT license required without RPSGT).
- BCLS/CPR certification.
- All required vaccinations and immunizations.
- Strong technical skills and exceptional patient care focus.
Schedule, Work Setting & Employment Type
- Full Time or Part Time positions available.
- Weekend night shifts.
- Onsite work in West Islip, NY.
Compensation
- Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus based on employment status.
