• Education Requirements: Completion of a recognized Respiratory Therapist/CPR program and current credentialing as RRT or CRT
• Certifications Requirements: BLS, ACLS, and BLS & ACLS certifications
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience in a hospital setting
• Other Requirements: Ability to perform Updraft Therapy, Blood gases, BIPAP/CPAP, Ventilators, EKG's; comfortable being the only RT in some cases; physically able to handle emergency response situations

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments including Updraft Therapy, blood gases, BIPAP/CPAP, and ventilator management according to physician orders and patient needs.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators, monitors, and related respiratory equipment to maintain equipment integrity and patient safety.
• Document all patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately within the EMR system HMS/MedHost.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, especially in emergency situations or when working as the sole RT on-site.
