Job Description
A home health care respiratory therapist provides patient care for people suffering from chronic or acute respiratory illnesses. When providing care in a home setting, you offer services that improve a disease sufferers quality of life through therapy, medications, and the use of specialized equipment. Your job duties may include assessing patient condition, inspecting and cleaning equipment, teaching the patient and caregivers how to use breathing devices such as ventilators or oxygen, and providing breathing therapy.
